Our ecosystem inspects the vessel, keeps its records straight, and turns that into a live, trusted picture of its condition, compliance and operations — so owners, investors, financiers and insurers all work from the same information. Running today on M/V LOTOSS.
Four steps, in the order they happen on a real vessel. Each one produces the information the next one depends on.
ShipCheckAI collects, checks and structures the vessel’s data — inspections, life-saving and fire-fighting appliances, MLC, and planned maintenance through Digi PMS. Reports come out ready to print, file or hand to an inspector.
Built & ready for shipownersMicroShipowner turns that data into a continuously updated view of the vessel’s condition, compliance, operations and business state — so everyone works from the same information instead of five different versions of it.
In test on LOTOSSDigi PMS and Digi Logbook handle tasks, maintenance, records and evidence. The proof of good management is produced by the work itself — not written up afterwards from memory.
Live on the vesselOn top of verified data sits a financing layer — EU-regulated profit-share bonds issued against a verified vessel — giving owners another source of capital alongside their bank, and investors a clear view of the asset behind the investment.
First issue on LOTOSSThe purpose is not to replace traditional bank financing, but to add another layer of financing and liquidity for shipowners — including smaller and partial owners who have limited access to conventional funding even when the vessel is productive and valuable.
A crew member walks the vessel with a phone or tablet. At each piece of equipment the screen shows what needs checking and what needs doing. When the job is done it records itself in the Digi Logbook, and the owner can see it. The paperwork becomes a by-product of the work — not a second job at the end of the watch.
◔ In adaptationOne information layer, six different reasons to care about it.
Access to additional financing, better liquidity, and a credible way to demonstrate the value and condition of your vessel.
A maritime asset supported by operational, compliance and business information that is kept current — and a clear view of what sits behind the investment.
A more reliable information base for assessing risk, monitoring performance and making financing or underwriting decisions.
Clearer tasks, procedures where you need them, and less administrative work — because the tools are connected rather than scattered.
Greater confidence that the vessel is properly managed, compliant and operationally transparent.
A common information layer connecting the physical vessel, its operations, its ownership and its financial structure.

Checks the vessel and structures what it finds. Photo-based inspections, structured checklists, LSA, FFA and MLC, and planned maintenance through Digi PMS — with reports formatted for the office and for statutory inspection. Built and ready for shipowners now.
Open ShipCheckAI → 02Meet the fleet. This is where we show you exactly how we manage real ships — vessel profiles, operational data, maintenance standards, crew and revenue performance. The safety management system, HR and business processes all run here, and the same record is visible to ship, office, owner and inspector. No black boxes.
View Our Ships → 03Where the financing happens. Each vessel is held in its own SPV and funded through EU-regulated profit-sharing bonds from €200. After operating costs, 75% of vessel profit goes to bondholders and 25% is the management fee, reported half-yearly. Bonds are transferable, but there is no trading market — a seller finds their own buyer and every transfer is approved individually. A digital ledger keeps ownership records auditable; you do not need to hold or understand cryptocurrency to own a bond.
Enter the platform → 04The utility & governance token of Maritime DAO. Earned by seafarers through verified ShipCheckAI inspections — bounties from 15 to 5,000 $MARGOT across four tiers. Stake to unlock higher tiers. Held by people who do the work — not by passive investors.
How to Earn $MARGOT →Everything behind the business — the market we are in, how the platforms fit together, who is building it, and where the vessel pipeline goes next. For owners, investors and partners.
We connect three things that normally sit apart: verified data about a vessel, the day-to-day management of it, and the financing behind it. The result is a ship that can show its own condition — which makes it easier to run, easier to insure and easier to fund.

We begin with a single real operational vessel — testing legal frameworks, technology stack, and full investor flows before scaling to a global asset platform. This is proof-of-concept grounded in real maritime revenue.
Digi Creative SIA — operational Baltic service vessel with an established revenue history and proven operational track record in demanding Nordic conditions.
Transparent legal framework — understand the regulatory structure, SPV architecture, token classification, and access all official documentation.
Maritime DAO operates within a clear legal framework designed for investor protection and regulatory compliance. All investments are structured through Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) registered in the EU. Token classification follows MiCA guidelines.
Maritime DAO entities are incorporated in Latvia (EU). All SPVs are separately registered, ring-fencing individual vessel investments. Investor funds never commingle across vessels.
$MARGOT is classified as a Title II crypto-asset (utility & governance token) under MiCA (Regulation EU 2023/1114) — not an asset-referenced token, not an e-money token, and not a financial instrument under MiFID II. It has no NAV, no yield, no peg, and no asset backing. Maritime DAO's ship investment bonds (e.g. LOTOSS Bonds) are a separate EU-regulated offering, operationally and legally segregated from $MARGOT.
All investor agreements include: clear exit provisions, quarterly audited financial statements, independent trustee oversight, and on-chain transparency of all fund flows.
All participants undergo full KYC/AML verification. Maritime DAO complies with FATF guidelines and EU AML directives. Onboarding is digital but fully compliant.
